Children

To be with a child is therapeutic and safe for the soul, than being with an adult. Children are so innocent, so oblivious of matters like judging others, thinking wrong of others, self-pity or slander. They are so free and make people who spend time with them, free. Jesus’ words on children come out to be so pertinent in this context:

"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven"
Matt 18:3

Unfinished

I must be a Nothing before love
a Nothing, for love
To love, I was broken
and yet again, broken

For, if love was just a feeling for me,
No mortal would ever have satisfied me.

And my search for safer spaces would never have ended.

Love and life are so entwined
that, I still remain breakable,
until I no longer can be.

The work is far from finished.
